Since the early times of human history, our ancestors used to use sticks and stones for tools. They also used  for making tools. We have evolved technologically with all kinds of tools, such as stone-cutting, printing, burning wood and many more. Today we have some very advanced equipment in science and technology. But we still need a lot more time and effort to be better than this world. A good start is to go through what modern technology has been. Let’s look at the 10 most interesting things that modern technology has brought us since 2000 (and yes, it’s older than even that).

Movies

We have movies, or else we would not live as well. So we can see how much the movie industry has developed over the years. From the first ever film, “The Golden Gate Bridge” to the latest Hollywood blockbuster, Marvel Cinematic Universe(MCU), we can see that things are improving. There are new films being made every day. For example, “Fast and Furious,” which was produced by Paramount Pictures released on July 25, 2016, “I, Tonya” which was released on December 13, 2015 and “Iron Man 2”(released 12 November 2012), which was released July 16, 2012. The future continues to improve.

Social media 

Social Media plays an important role in human lives because we can communicate with people around the globe. It helps us stay connected with one another and people are sharing their experiences. This is done every day. Social media is just like YouTube. If you want to watch any movie or read an album but you only have ten minutes, you can stream right through it. Same thing for Facebook or Twitter. No limits in social media. "It gives access to so many people. "And they do all kinds of cool stuff as well! Social media is really like a communication tool. You never know what your friend might say when meeting them in reality.

Health Care

Health Care is the most sensitive field in the area of study. Most people in this world don’t think about health care and how it affects society. Yet, in a country like Pakistan where the government doesn’t give enough care for health care, I don’t know about anyone. "Especially if you have diabetes. "Our government is spending millions of dollars each year on diseases, including cancer, heart disease, diabetes. What do we get from this? Nothing. We also pay hundreds and thousands every month for medicines but they are useless. Nowadays doctors recommend taking medicine but if a person is not ready for such medication, then the doctor should take other options. Because a bad situation might be deadly or worse… the doctor can leave it to fate. That’s why a big amount of money is being pumped into medical care. Every person is trying hard to become healthy because the way society is structured today doesn’t work for people. People prefer to remain underdeveloped and underpaid. This brings many diseases and many health problems.

Smartphones

We still believe that cell phones were invented in 1872 and they are now part of our life. People use it in public spaces and in private places. Smartphones help in getting information in real time. For example, to make calls, the user needs to enter the phone number (which they have) and after entering it the person speaks to others. Or sometimes the message comes from somebody (who is interested or who is talking to the user). If the person is interested then he/she can chat without having to wait for someone else to respond to him/her. However, there are cases when smart phone gets hacked. Hackers can install malware on the devices. One such case happened in Google’s Android operating company. According to data and information from the Internet Crime Complaint Center, 4,741 million smartphones were distributed during 2012. During the same period, Google’s Android operating system became vulnerable to cyberattacks including phishing, keylogging, password spraying, and credential stuffing.

Internet

Many countries have established internet speed uptime. On average it’s about 3.5 hours and it varies between 500 Mbps and 6 Gbps. How to keep these numbers up? Two keys in this case. Firstly, find out what users want. Who wants fast Internet? Secondly, find ways to connect them with high bandwidth. When the traffic increases, the faster Internet will be. Moreover, some ISPs are allowing home connections which means that they won’t charge extra rates for using the network. This will save users some money so everyone can afford it. Although those who want higher internet speed can pay extra for it, which makes them less satisfied with it. Hence, more networks can be put up to satisfy everybody. All things considered, internet speeds don’t matter but connectivity matters. Connectivity is like oxygen in the air. Some people call it the soul of a planet. To prevent any kind of trouble, all kinds of measures are being taken. Networking methods and services are very stable, but not everything is perfect yet. Therefore, always be alert and prepared.

New Technology

Technology is changing very quickly. We have different technologies now and they are changing as well. Different areas are developing new things every day. For instance, computers and laptops are slowly becoming outdated because they don’t have the required resources. Today, we can see that mobile phone companies are offering more power to new devices. As per current statistics, Samsung provides 1.6 GHz chips to its Galaxy S series of devices with 32 GB RAM and 128 GB storage. Apple is currently preparing a 64 GB iPhone with 8 GB memory and 128 GB storage. These prices are quite expensive. As if that weren’t enough for customers, even more powers can be offered in other devices. Amazon offers $50 per terabyte for a computer running Windows 8.1. Microsoft Corporation is doing a similar experiment. Another major development is the arrival of virtual reality headsets.

The rise of the hologram is something to brag about. Holograms play an important role in the recent movies (especially sci-fi ones) of different genres. Many actors used to wear glasses in olden days. Then people started to get tired. The appearance of hologram was noticed a few years back. The main advantage of it is that holograms project multiple images onto the screen. While watching a video, the image can be varied according to what the audience likes. So that holograms can appear differently. An example of a holographic device is Magic the Gathering Experience. It shows an animation of magic. Not only does they show it, they also project it in the sky using several holograms. The effect of the projection of the video is amazing. At present, no one uses it, but in the next five years it will be the preferred option for viewers. In any case, if the price and experience are considered, then the cost of living will increase very fast in the near future. It will come to a point where humans will not be able to survive anymore.
